Our early involvement in the project saves you valuable time as we can provide budget pricing from early sketch drawings for the selected Normerica materials along with consistent and timely structural advice and detailing.
Our Design & Engineering Department is permanently staffed with Timber Frame experts with many years experience. The Department is divided into Architectural Design and Production/Engineering teams.
The Architectural Design team is comprised of talented architects, designers, drafting technicians and structural engineers. We work with you in developing your client's conceptual design and how the Timber Frame structure or timber details can be seamlessly integrated into your design. Once the conceptual design is finalized our Production/Engineering team develops the production shop drawings and shares details for the timber frame and other selected package materials with you. All design work is done on the latest version of Auto Desk's AutoCAD as well as the more powerful version of Architectural Desktop (ADT) design platform which develops 3D building imagery.
